Looking at the dual quads on my SBC would give me a great feeling but if my brother's single Holley 350 can whump me, they won't feel so good then.Disclaimer: Past performance is no guarantee of future performance. (I got my drivers license in early 1964 when dual quad cars were kings! ( 409 Chevy's, 421 Pontiacs, 427 Fords, and later 426 Street Hemi's, as well as many Hot Rods.) I would dearly love to do my new engine with the 7525 manifold BUT only if it does as well as the single Airgap. Has anyone tried this manifold? Does it do better? ![]() Now I see where Edelbrock has brought out an Airgap dual quad manifold (#7525) which looks like it might make better power than the old C-26. The dual quad setup on an Edelbrock C-26 (#5425) did not do well, made about 40hp less than the single 4bbl Airgap. I know that David (DF) and Steve Dulcich have covered this with their 383 Mopar build with multiple intakes in HOT ROD before DF left and also DF did a comparison on a Chevy several years ago with a 350 SBC that made around 481 HP with a single 4bbl and RPM Airgap manifold.
