Not all characters are permitted in file names for Macs.Check for Updates via the App Store and update the app if updates are available.Once the issue is fixed with the items that have a problem, all the other files should sync as well.For the ones that say there is a problem with the name, rename the file or folder so that it does not begin with a space, end with a space, or have invalid characters that OneDrive won't accept.Some say the issue is with another item - you can skip over these as the problem will be fixed with the other item (likely a folder).Another window will open, showing what the issue is with each file. Click the sync errors message at the top to see the details of which files are having issues.A small window will pop up showing additional options. ![]() Click the OneDrive icon on the top menu bar.View the sync errors to determine the issue and fix the problem.Make sure you are connected to a secure network (such as via Ethernet cable or Eduroam wireless).Use Spotlight to search for OneDrive and open it (or open it from Applications as mentioned in previous steps).Click the OneDrive icon in the menu bar.On the General tab of the new window, there is an option to " open at login." Choosing this option will allow OneDrive to open automatically each time you sign into your mac, allowing it to sync each time.Then if you click Preferences, another window loads.You can access additional OneDrive settings from that icon by clicking the stacked vertical dots.If you click on the OneDrive icon on the top menu bar, it should tell you if/when all files are synced. When OneDrive Opens, it will attempt to sync. Go to Applications and double click OneDrive to open it. You should see the OneDrive icon (looks like double clouds) on the top menu bar on the right if it is running. The OneDrive app on the Mac is not syncing. I've installed the OneDrive app on my Mac computer, but the documents are not the same as what is on my other devices.
